The Man Who Planted Trees

Presented by: Pittsburgh Intl Children's Theater
Venue: Bellefield Hall
Wednesday, May 12 - Sunday, May 16, 2010

Based on the beloved fable and book by Jean Giono, The Man Who Planted Trees is a unique blend of comedy and puppetry that tells the inspiring tale of a human being who recognized the destruction of our environment, decided not to ignore it, and set out on a mission “to put things right.” In this captivating adaptation, a French shepherd sets out with his dog to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland. This uplifting and unforgettable story shows us the difference one man (and his dog named Dog) can make in the world.
